Refunds and cancellations

Tickets on Ticketaki are sold by each event's organizer. This policy applies to every event on Ticketaki. Refunds are paid by the organizer, to the card or payment method you used. If that isn't possible, the organizer pays you back another way, such as a bank transfer.

If you can't attend

Tickets are for a specific date, so the 14-day right to cancel online purchases doesn't apply to them. You can't claim a refund for a ticket you can't use.

You can still ask the organizer. If they agree, you get the ticket price back, including VAT. Fees (such as the platform fee) are not refundable.

If the event is cancelled

You get back everything you paid, including all fees, within 14 days of the cancellation. You don't need to do anything: you'll get an email when the refund is issued.

If the event is postponed or changes significantly

A significant change is a new date, a new venue or a different main performer.

  • Your ticket stays valid.
  • If you'd rather not go, ask the organizer for a refund within 14 days of being told about the change, or before the event starts if that's sooner.
  • You get back everything you paid, including all fees, within 14 days of your request.

How to ask for a refund

Write to the organizer at the contact address in your order confirmation email, and include your order number.

If the organizer doesn't answer, or doesn't refund you when they should, email Ticketaki at [email protected] and we'll follow up.

When the money arrives

Once the organizer issues a refund, it usually takes 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Who is responsible

The organizer sells the tickets and is responsible for the event and for refunds. Ticketaki provides the ticketing platform. This policy doesn't limit your rights under consumer law.
